We invested in AiPrise in 2022 on the belief that there was a need for a single solution for a global KYC / KYB. Since then, we’ve seen them expand from serving regional startups to become a truly global, enterprise-grade solution, and it’s been a privilege to follow them on this journey. We’re thrilled to see where they go from here.
Why We Backed AiPrise Early
As founders, we felt personally the pain of global expansion and needing to aggregate dozens of KYC / KYB vendors. This challenge was only amplified as we saw more of our portfolio companies look to expand globally, where they too faced a patchwork of local providers varying in consistency and integration standards.Within the highly fragmented KYC market, global fintechs would often be forced to stitch together more than ten vendors just to onboard customers across borders.
AiPrise saw a better way: an orchestration layer that could dramatically improve their KYC and KYB solutions: standardizing workflows, automating monitoring, and enabling institutions to flexibly adapt anti-fraud and compliance processes.
Why We’re Excited Now
What was once a Seed-stage vision now represents the category leader of global KYC and KYB compliance. We’ve seen them grow into a company successfully serving enterprise companies like Meta, Bridge and Conduit, and having global coverage.
As a highly technical team operating within the AI economy, we’re excited for them to continue to roll out AI-enabled solutions.
