Today, Corbel announced their $6.7M Series Seed led by Ibex Investors, with participation from Joule, Restive, and Selah Ventures. A big congrats to Le’ora, Dor, and the entire Corbel team as they scale their mission to modernize the equipment manufacturing sector.
We invested in Corbel in 2022, when Le’ora developed her vision for bringing modern financing to the equipment finance space. Since then, we’ve seen her embrace the full potential of that market, growing Corbel to support sales, financing and support through the use of AI and other tools. We’re thrilled to see where they go from here.
Why We Backed Corbel Early
Le’ora is a force of nature, which was immediately clear at our first meeting with her. Coming from the equipment finance world, she realized how manual, slow, and cumbersome that space was—and she was the one to fix it. Combined with Dor’s technical brilliance, we knew they would achieve big things. Over time, they came to appreciate that friction existed far beyond just the financial layer, and the team proceeded to build modern, AI-first tools to improve the output, sales, and operations of global manufacturers. Le’ora and Dor possess that magical mix of speed, determination, and curiosity that we admire in a founding team. We’ve been proud to back them from their pre-seed through to today, and are excited to continue to be on this journey with them into the future.
